Today I have a guest post from a fellow Californian SLP who shared her “SUPER” speech room decor with me. I fell in love with all her creativity, so I wanted to share all her ideas with you today. After seeing all these great photos, it is making me want a SUPER HERO speech room!! Take it away Christina Callaghan……..
As I have started seeing students this year, they have been so thrilled with my “Super” room. They love the theme. Plus, they chose it! At the end of each school year, I choose three themes for the students to vote between. The winning idea will be used the following year in our speech room. The choices were: Super heroes, Dr. Seuss or Eric Carl. Many of my ideas came from pinterest. Check out my Super Hero Pinterest Board!
I got all of my clipart from clipartopia on Etsy. I made all the signs with the young super heroes, like my binder cover, rules, sticker chart, etc.
I bought these cups for scissors/crayons/pencils at Target this past summer.
I made the buildings and the puffs.
Did you see my cute decorations around my clock?
Another friend made the “bang, zing, pow” signs with her cricuit cutting machine.
The superman fabric is from Walmart to cover a table.
The big super heroes were made by a fellow SLP’s son-in-law. She did a super hero theme last year, so I am borrowing them.
I think that’s about it! I hope you enjoyed seeing all my “super” decor ideas. What does your room look like?
