I had been using an IBALLZ case for my IPAD at work (that is what the district bought us) and I was liking certain features about the case, but my biggest complaint was that the foam balls were always falling off or a child could easily pull on the balls and then the IPAD corners would be exposed. Since I work with mod-severe kids and of course one of their highly preferred activities is the IPAD, I tend to use it often with them especially when my planned lesson is a fail! It’s always an experiment with this group. Anyways, one of my friends who is an app consultant and trainer told me about her Grip Case and I had to have one! Of course I had to order a purple one because that’s my favorite color. The case is made out of EVA foam and it is very sturdy, but flexible to hold. I went on YouTube and found a great video that shows you had to put the IPAD in the case and demonstrates how the case protects your IPAD. Here is an awesome Grip Case video for how to use it. What I think is really cool about this case is that if a student uses an IPAD as an AAC device, they can easily carry it around or clip it to their backpack for easy travel. The lovely folks at Grip Case want to give one away to my fabulous followers! Enter below for your chance. a Rafflecopter giveaway
Does “Willoughby walliby wee An elephant sat on me” bring back memories for any of you? It sure does for me because I lOVED listening to Raffi as a little girl and of course STILL love to sing along to his tunes. I am pretty picky when it comes to kids music because my hubby and I both need to think it sounds awesome as well. I also love to bring music in from time to time to share with my little speech kiddos to change things up a bit. So, when my aunt gave my family a Caspar Baby Pants CD, I fell in love.
The band has lots of great engaging songs. Some of my family’s favorites are “Got a Little Ghost”, “Fuzzy Wuzzy” and “Eleanor the Elegant Elephant”. Caspar Baby Pants just came out with a Baby Beatles CD that features all the Beatle’s classic songs with a fun kid friendly twist. It has been fun jammin’ to these tunes in the car and I love having “dance parties” with my little ones in speech. This band is so cool that he sent me 3 CD’s to giveaway!! Enter below!
