Fun Christmas Articulation Craft With 3D Christmas Trees

I have a craft even my SLPs who are team NO glue will like. When you do a speech therapy craft, it must be functional, easy to prep, and used in therapy. Because it isn’t worth the effort of printing, cutting, and then gluing with your students if it didn’t get you high engagement, lots of trials, and can be used as articulation homework. These 3D Christmas Tree articulation crafts will hit all those boxes. You can have students color the trees one session while practicing words. Then, in the next session, assemble the 3D Christmas tree craft while practicing. You can keep the trees in your room as a warm-up drill practice or send them home for kids to put on their mantels or hang from their Christmas tree all month long to practice.

The first person to cover all their items wins. Print a sheet for every student in the group use it with magnetic chips or tokens. These Christmas articulation games pair well with these articulation flashcard sets!

Make Christmas chain crafts and have your students write their Christmas articulation words on each chain. Then, glue them together to create a Christmas chain countdown. You can keep them in your speech room and have students practice a chain every session until winter break, or send them as articulation homework to have families practice one chain daily. It’s super easy to adapt for younger and older students with pictures or writing words. I use the articulation word lists from my flipbooks to use generic words
