Hey Hey Hey SLPs! This week I hope to empower you a little bit with some easy activities that you can do for some of your students who are working on articulation carry over. One of the pieces to that puzzle is keeping the kids motivated. The theme song for this week has to be, Imagine Dragons “Make me a Believer”. Really, we got to get those kids motivated to believe that they can gradually get their sound and conversation.
In this episode you’ll hear:
- Make a conversation script of a conversation your students would be having on campus, or in their community.
- Use How-To YouTube videos with your students’ sounds
- Use wordless short videos to have students create dialogue, summarize the video, answer wh-questions,etc
